Bobroczkyi is taller than his idol Yao Ming and nutritionists are making sure he gets to the NBA like Yao did. The coaches and health staff would like Bobroczkyi to have a long and healthy career. At 15 years old, he stands 7 ft 6.55 in and carries an 184 pound (83.5 Kilogram) frame.

Bobroczkyi’s father is 7-foot-1 (2.15 meters) and played on Romania’s national team with Gheorghe Muresan — the 7-foot-7 giant (2.31-meter) who was the tallest NBA player in history. His mother is also tall and was an accomplished handball player. And his four-year-old sister Arianna was nearly an inch (2 centimeters) longer than him at birth.
He started playing basketball at the age of 5, and his idol was Yao Ming. Recently he mentioned, “Now I have two,” Bobroczkyi said. “Anthony Davis and Kristaps Porzingis.”
Bobroczkyi has a high basketball IQ and as you would expect he blocks shots and easily shoots over shorter players. But demostrates strong passing skills, hitting cutting players who can easily finish layups as the defense concentrates on Bobroczyki.
This season, there is very little basketball for this talented player. He does not move or run in a healthy way and it is concerning to see him run. He would work on his body to get bigger, healthier and stronger. Growing boys need their food, and since Bobroczkyi is a towering growing boy, he needs to have even more food.
But for now, the Europe’s tallest teenager has attracted the attention of the NBA. In the history of the NBA, there have been only 20 players who stood at 2.21m or taller. The question is: Can he remain healthy and become strong by building his muscles the right and natural way. Because the professional league in the USA will be testing his body and conditioning as much as his game.
