With WrestleMania 35 being such a visually extravagant event, the fans will be surely expecting something sensational to go down this year.
Judging by how Vince McMahon has been pushing some feuds and stories on the main roster, we are bound to see incredible clashes at the Grandest Stage of Them All, with many marquee main event-caliber stars making their presence known.
There’s no denying that the Showcase of the Immortals has always been expected to be a fine blend of in-ring quality and sports entertainment, and WWE definitely will be willing to put their best foot forward to entertain a sold-out crowd in New Jersey.
Since this is the time when many influential part-time superstars come into the equation and become part of major storylines to increase the mainstream value of the product, we could very well see a monumentally stacked card this year.
Considering the fact that names like John Cena, Triple H, and The Undertaker are always featured in prominent roles at the Grandest Stage of Them All, there are a lot of superstars who could be hanging their boots after WrestleMania 35.
So, without further ado, let’s dive deep and predict the 7 WWE superstars who could be wrestling their final match at WrestleMania 35.
#1 Kurt Angle
In my humble opinion, Kurt Angle is one of the greatest technical wrestlers that has ever graced the squared circle, if not the greatest.
However, his age has really diluted his incredible in-ring style, with his recent main roster matches against Drew Mcintyre, Dolph Ziggler, and Baron Corbin failing to bring out the best in the Olympic Gold Medalist.
While he is still a major name in the world of professional wrestling, it definitely seems that he could be in line for a final marquee bout at the Grandest Stage of Them All in New Jersey this year.
#2 Big Show
If history is any indication, then Big Show could very well be making his presence known at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this year.
The former World Champion was involved with the Bar on the Blue Brand recently, in what definitely looked like a permanent faction, but the Giant was eventually sidelined from the angle and hasn’t been an active element on the main roster.
The 46-year old legend has achieved everything that he had to in his career and could finally be wrestling his final match at WrestleMania 35 by making a solid appearance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
#3 Dean Ambrose
In what has already been in the headlines all over the wrestling world, Dean Ambrose won’t be renewing his contract with Vince McMahon’s billion dollar company which expires in April.
The Lunatic Fringe has been rumored to be frustrated with his creative direction on Monday Night Raw, with his sensational heel turn failing to create any major impact on the main roster.
Judging by how the former WWE Champion has been presented lately on the Red Brand, it definitely seems that he could very well be leaving the frame after the Grandest Stage of Them All.
A potential match with either Triple H or even EC3 could happen this year. There’s no denying that the self-proclaimed ‘Moral Compass’ of the WWE hasn’t been utilized to his full potential, and his presence at WrestleMania 35 could be his final one.
#4 The Undertaker
There’s no denying that the Undertaker is one of the greatest WWE performers of all time, and his legendary streak at WrestleMania is a testament to his incredible legacy.
Despite gravitating the audience’s attention through his supernatural aura, the Phenom’s recent outings as an in-ring performer have not received the most positive reception.
While his age has definitely diluted his offensive striking and in-ring performance, there are rumors circulating that the former World Champion could be wrestling his final match this year.
Since he is widely recognized as a huge marketable legend in the wrestling business, there’s a genuine chance that the Deadman could be hanging up his boots this year in New Jersey.
A potential match with Finn Balor or Drew Mcintyre at the Grandest Stage of Them All could be an ideal way for his farewell after having entertained legions of WWE fans for almost a generation.
#5 AJ Styles
The inception of All Elite Wrestling has divided the entire wrestling community, with legions of wrestling fans yearning to see these two huge promotions competing against one another to propel professional wrestling, in general.
Since many WWE superstars have been rumored to jump ship from Vince’s billion dollar corporation to the newly formed promotion, AJ Styles is a Superstar that has been speculated to join hands with Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks.
Considering that the former WWE Champion reportedly denied signing a new WWE contract via Twitter, his refusal has ignited more conjectures that the Phenomenal One may really leave the company.
While I definitely believe that his refusal must be taken with a grain of salt, there’s still a slight possibility that the Prince of Phenomenal could wrestle his final WWE match at the Show of Shows this year.
#6 & #7 Trish Stratus and Lita
A significant reason why I have included Trish Stratus and Lita in the same frame is that both the talented female competitors are rumored to team up to face Sasha Banks and Bayley for the Women’s Tag-Team Championships.
Since Trish and Lita have been such prominent figures for women’s wrestling, the two could use this opportunity to propel both Banks and Bayley where they rightfully belong.
This is definitely a dream match for fans who have followed the incredible careers of these four female competitors and certainly seems to be an ideal way for a massive send-off to Trish and Lita.
